How to start

Your path, in five simple steps

Every family starts the same way: with a short Program Fit Call.

  1. Step 1 — start here

    Program Fit Call

    A free 15-minute virtual call. We listen, answer questions, and say honestly whether this fits.
  2. Step 2

    Preferences Assessment

    A structured look at how your child learns, engages, and responds — no diagnosis, no testing labels.
  3. Step 3

    Preferences Blueprint™

    Your plain-language plan. It sets out what sessions will practise, week by week.
  4. Step 4

    Sessions at the clinic

    One-on-one implementation sessions inside a participating licensed clinic space.
  5. Step 5

    Updates and check-ins

    Short weekly progress notes, plus a monthly meeting to review and adjust together.

  6. Enrollment is never automatic.

    A Program Fit Call is a conversation, not a commitment. Fit, availability, and registration are confirmed in writing before anything begins.

  7. The clinic may also have its own steps.

    A participating clinic may complete its own clinic-side meeting, intake step, suitability review, funding discussion, or payment process before enrollment is confirmed. The timing may vary: if your family is already connected to the clinic, the clinic may meet with you before or alongside ANUVO’s Program Fit Call. If you are new to the clinic, ANUVO may first complete the Program Fit Call and then coordinate with the clinic where applicable. Enrollment is not confirmed until both ANUVO and the participating clinic have completed the required fit, consent, suitability, payment, and scheduling steps.

Who does what

Everyone's role is set out in writing before you decide.

The licensed clinic

Provides and oversees any regulated clinical services, supervision, and the clinic space where sessions happen. For the pilot, this is Smile 4 Therapy.

ANUVO

Provides implementation support: the Preferences Assessment, the Preferences Blueprint™, structured one-on-one sessions, and written updates. ANUVO does not independently provide regulated clinical services.

Your family

Shares what matters at home, joins the monthly meeting, and decides whether to continue. Enrollment is never automatic.

The ANUVO Preferences Intervention Program is an ANUVO-developed implementation support framework delivered through participating clinic-hosted partnerships. ANUVO does not independently provide ABA therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, psychotherapy, diagnosis, psychoeducational assessment, OAP clinical services, or regulated clinical treatment. Regulated clinical services remain within the scope of the participating licensed clinic or regulated professional. OAP or insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Who Smile 4 Therapy is, and what they provide

This program is hosted inside a licensed clinic. Here is what that means for your family, in plain language.

Regulated clinical services

Smile 4 Therapy is the licensed clinic partner. Any regulated clinical service your child receives is provided and overseen by the clinic and its qualified professionals.

The clinic space

Sessions take place inside the clinic's Ottawa-area location, so your child works in a supervised, familiar setting.

Clinical oversight and safety

The clinic sets and maintains the professional standards, supervision, and safety practices that apply on site.

What ANUVO does

  • The Preferences Assessment and the written Preferences Blueprint™
  • Structured one-on-one implementation sessions that follow the Blueprint™
  • Weekly written updates and a monthly family feedback meeting

What ANUVO does not do

  • Diagnose, assess clinically, or provide therapy
  • Independently provide regulated clinical services
  • Decide enrollment on its own — enrollment is never automatic
Simple version: the clinic provides and oversees any regulated clinical care. ANUVO provides the implementation support that helps recommendations get practised week to week. You always know which team is responsible for what, in writing, before you decide.
